Media Refresher and Dress Rehearsal
Individual or Group
Course Description
A session that reinforces and builds on the skills acquired during the 'Handling the Media' course. It updates the latest theory and provides a chance to do several practical exercises.
This session can be tailored to your exact needs. If a specific issue is about to break or has suddenly become the 'story of the day' we can spend as much time as is available, refreshing the skills and then rehearsing. These courses can also serve as a workshop to 'massage the messages' before they are delivered to the media. Often potential trouble spots are found and dealt with in the training room and never find their way into the media. These sessions also serve as a 'warm-up' as many of our clients leave the course and go straight to an interview, ready and focussed.
Who Will Benefit?
Anyone who has previously done our 'Handling the Media program', and is about to face the media. If the client has not had a chance to use their skills since the original course, then a refresher goes a long way to keeping those skills alive.
