Ministerial Letter Writing
Group - One Day Course
Course Description
Many organisations spend a great deal of effort writing and re-writing correspondence for ministerial or chief executive signature. The course is designed to help make this process more efficient, and to produce better letters. It has been designed by Roger Fry, who has rewritten hundreds of letters for a federal minister.
The course takes a practical approach and tailors programs to the writing experience and skills of participants in each workshop. It avoids formal lectures in grammar and syntax, and concentrates on examples - good and bad, with a thread of humour running through to keep things interesting. At the end of the course, participants will see letter writing as an interesting challenge, rather than a chore.
Who Will Benefit
Ministerial staff and corporate staff who need to draft or re-write official correspondence. The course is usually offered as a group program, although one-on-one is available.
